Aerial acrobatics is our main passion at Mimosa. We have a wealth of experience delivering Aerial Hoop and Silks workshops for all levels of ability to big and small groups on special occasions such as hen dos and birthday parties. We can set up our free-standing aerial rigs at various heights in outdoor and indoor venues or hire a suitable space to run the workshops for you. The workshops run for up to 2 hours depending on your specific requirements. All the equipment is provided on the day.
Most Mimosa members also teach regular aerial classes at different venues across Bristol, just get in touch to enquire about the most suitable option for you.
“We booked Ana for a hen party. She was extremely kind and professional throughout the booking and the best teacher! Encouraged us and left the hens feeling they really achieved something! She’s incredibly talented and I would recommend her over and over!!!! Thank you Ana!” (Rhea, hen party organiser)
We specialise in Hulahoop and Juggling skills workshops suitable for all levels of ability. Our workshops are popular at hen dos, school balls, corporate and birthday parties.
“Thank you for yesterday, your jugglers were superb!” (Helena Buckley, Crane Chem Pharma & Energy)
“Many thanks, we thought Elly was fantastic. She worked brilliantly with the theme and
seamlessly moved around our guests. We were in awe of her constant smile!” (Kate
Gillingham, Queen Annes School, Berkshire)
“I’ve been meaning to email to say another thank you for your day with us. When I emailed before I hadn’t really spoken to the team, but in the de-brief they all said how brilliant you had been at holding a good audience and getting people to have a go – at working the crowd if you like. So thank you again!” Mrs Susie Simmons, Operations Manager, South West Heritage Trust MuseumsThe Museum of Somerset, Somerset Rural Life Museum
Our workshops are popular at hen dos and companies’ corporate events and away days. We also provide workshops for family days at museums and for school balls.
Our most popular workshops include juggling, hula-hooping and aerial acrobatics. Our workshops follow a ‘have-a-go’ format, with the performer showing tricks or moves than the audience can try safely by themselves. We provide all the equipment and have years of experience in running workshops for diverse audiences. Our non-aerial workshops (i.e. juggling, hula-hooping) tend to be a bit more relaxed, whilst our aerial workshops tend to be more structured. In any case, all our workshops provide equal levels of fun and challenges for all participants and levels of ability.
We can work with groups of up to 15-20 people per workshop leader. However, bear in mind that the more of you, the less time you may have to have a go! So, for larger groups, you may prefer to have two workshop leaders instead. This way you can also mix and match the types of activities you are willing to have a go at: for example, aerial and hula-hooping workshops make a cracking combo at hen dos!
We can provide up to 3-hour workshops, split into 1 or 1.5-hour smaller workshops with breaks in between. Please note that for larger groups this time may go really quickly, and you may want to consider booking more than one workshop leader so all the participants get to have a fair go.
